Veg Pizza Recipe: Ingredients
For Veg Pizza Dough:
- Maida – 2 cup
- Sugar – ½ teaspoon
- Salt – ½ teaspoon
- Dry Yeast – 2 teaspoon
- Baking Powder – 1 teaspoon
- Olive Oil – 3 tablespoons
- Warm Water – 1 cup
- Butter – 2 tablespoon
For Veg Pizza Sauce:
- Tomatoes – 4 medium size
- Garlic Cloves – 3
- Dried Basil – 2 teaspoon
- Dried Oregano – 1 teaspoon
- Black Pepper Powder – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – ½ teaspoon
- Olive Oil – 2 tablespoon
For Veg Pizza Topping:
- Onion – ½ cup (sliced)
- Tomato – ½ cup (sliced)
- Capsicum – ½ cup (sliced)
- Baby Corn – 2 (optional)
- Sweet Corn – ½ cup (optional)
- Sliced Olive – 5 to 6 (sliced)
- Paneer – ½ cup (cut in small cube)
- Mozzarella Cheese – 1 cup (shredded)
- Mix Herbs – 1 teaspoon
- Chilli Flakes – ½ teaspoon
Method – How to Make Veg Pizza Dough
Step 1 – In a bowl add dry yeast, sugar, baking powder and warm water mix it well, now cover it and keep aside for 5 minutes.
Step 2 – In a deep bowl combine the maida, yeast baking powder mixture and salt and knead into soft dough using enough warm water.
Step 3 – Cover the dough and keep aside for 10 minute.
Method – How to Make Veg Pizza Base
Step 1 – After 10 minute, knead the dough for 1 min more.
Step 2 – Divide the dough into 2 equal portions.
Step 3 – Take one portion of dough and roll the dough into 6 inch diameter circle.
Step 4 – Preheat the tava or pan for 5 min at high flame and then grease the tava or pan with little butter and place the rolled dough on it, now cover the tava or pan and cook on a low flame for 2 min.
Step 5 – Now flip to the other side and cook again on a low flame for 2 minute.
Step 6 – Repeat same thing to make another pizza base.
Step 7 – Now pizza base is ready, keep aside and let them cool down.
Method – How to Make Veg Pizza Sauce
Step 1 – Take tomatoes and wash them well.
Step 2 – Blanch the tomatoes and chop them.
Step 3 – Take the sauce pan, heat up the oil and add garlic and blanch tomatoes in it.
Step 4 – Cook the sauce without cover for 10 min on low flame.
Step 5 – Now add dried basil, dried oregano, black pepper powder and salt, mix well and cook for 5 min more on low flame.
Step 6 – Now pizza sauce is ready. Let the sauce cool down at room temperature.
Method – How to Make Veg Pizza Topping
Step 1 – Heat up the oil in pan and add the capsicum, onions and baby corn and saute on a medium flame for 3 minutes.
Step 2 – Now add paneer, tomatoes, sweet corn and olive and saute on a medium flame for 3 minutes.
Step 3 – Now add the mixed herbs, chilli flakes and salt and saute on a medium flame for 1 minute and keep aside.
Method – How to Assemble Veg Pizza
Step 1 – Toast the pizza base by using butter in pan, cook for 2 minute at low flame or until the lower side gets little brown.
Step 2 – Now flip it and spread the prepared pizza sauce.
Step 3 – Now spread the prepared topping and shredded cheese.
Step 4 – Sprinkling mix herbs and chilli flakes.
Step 5 – Now cover the pan and cook at low flame for 5 min or until the cheese gets melted.
Step 6 – Now remove the pizza from the pan then cut it into 4 to 8 quarters and serve immediately after sprinkling some dried oregano and red chilli flakes.
Tips to Make Veg Pizza
- If you using oven then preheated oven for 5 min at 200 Degree Celsius.
- You can also use ready-made pizza base.
