Chicken Manchurian Recipe: Ingredients

For Chicken Manchurian:

  • Boneless Chicken – 500 gm (cut into very small cubes)
  • Egg – 1 (beaten)
  • Soya Sauce – 1 teaspoon
  • White Vinegar – 1 tablespoon
  • Ginger Paste – 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic Paste – 1 teaspoon
  • Corn Flour – 4 tablespoon
  • Maida – 2 tablespoon
  • Black Pepper – ½ teaspoon
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon or as per taste
  • Oil – to deep fry

For Chicken Manchurian Sauce:

  • Garlic – 1 tablespoon (chopped)
  • Ginger – 1 tablespoon (finely chopped)
  • Onion – ½ cup (cut into cubes)
  • Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Soy Sauce – 2 tablespoons
  • Vinegar – 2 tablespoons
  • Red Chilli Sauce – 1 tablespoon
  • Tomato Sauce – 1 tablespoon
  • Green Chillies – 2 (finely chopped)
  • Green Capsicum – 1/2 cup (cut into cubes)
  • Spring Onion – 2 (finely chopped)
  • Corn Flour – 2 tablespoon
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon or as per taste
  • Oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Water – ½ cup

Method – How to Marinate Chicken

Step 1 – Take a large bowl and add chicken small pieces, beaten egg, soy sauce, white vinegar, ginger paste and garlic paste and mix well.

Step 2 – Now add corn flour, maida, black pepper, red chilli powder and salt.

Step 3 – Mix well all the Ingredients and keep aside for 3 to 4 hours.

Method – How to Make Chicken Manchurian

Step 1 – Heat up oil in a pan and now make chicken balls and layered with corn flour and then deep fry chicken balls one by one, cook them till it turn golden brown, now put fried chicken balls on the tissue paper and keep aside.

Step 2 – Now heat up oil in another pan and add ginger and garlic mix and fry it for 2 min.

Step 3 – Now add onion, green capsicum and green chillies and mix it for 2 min more.

Step 4 – Now add soy sauce, vinegar, red chilli sauce, tomato sauce, salt and black pepper powder, mix well and cook for 5 min.

Step 5 – Now add corn flour & water and mix it for 2 min.

Step 6 – Now add fried chicken balls into sauce and now add chopped spring onion and cook for 5 min at low flame.

Step 7 – Turn off the gas and Chicken Manchurian is ready now.

Serving Chicken Manchurian

  • Take a serving bowl and put Chicken Manchurian in it and now sprinkle some spring onion on the top of Chicken Manchurian and serve with fried rice.

Tips to Make Chicken Manchurian

  • If sauce is too thick add little bit of water in it.
  • Marinate chicken overnight for more flavour.
